Estancia Puerto Bories is a country house hotel set in 25 acres of parkland situated on the banks of the Last Hope sound. The 7 spacious bedrooms have deep mattresses, the finest quality linen and have been thoughtfully decorated with a refreshing combination of the traditional mixed with the contemporary.

All the rooms have been individually designed and are with antique furnishings staying true to the character of the house. All rooms have wonderful views of the surrounding mountains, the Ultima Esperanza Sound & glaciers.

Other facilities include the dining room with open fireplace and living area. The bar area and lounge with open fireplace.

“We were there during the low-low season (July) when things in the area are pretty basic. Our reservation was in place and the House was opened almost exclusively for us during 4 days (only one other couple for one night). Speak of personalized attention.The room was warm, the bed was great and the view quite amazing, especially one sun rise with everything covered with ice.“

“We spent four nights here last week. It is a beautiful hotel with very impressive views. The rooms were clean and the hospitality great. The heat worked well and the bathroom was clean. It is outside of town but for about 5 dollars US you can go into town. It is peaceful and a great place to walk and enjoy the countryside.“

Great spot at the edge of the world

“This hotel was a wonderful base for our 4 nights in Patagonia. Just a 5 minute taxi into town it was close enough to be easy and far enough outside to really feel like Patagonia. Staff were very helpful, rooms were clean and breakfast was basic but nice each morning. Highly recommend this place it exceeded our expectations especially for the low cost in comparison to many other places nearby!“.

“I stayed here with my family in March 2018 and highly recommend Bories House. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was large and warm, well lit and extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable with fresh, clean linen and comfortable pillows. We ate our dinner in the dining room most of the nights of our stay and enjoyed the food. Fantastic views of the Torres Del Paine park and the fjord are through the lounge windows. The hotel is located a short taxi ride into town or if you are inclined a reasonable walk. I highly recommend this hotel“.

Beautifully situated house on the bank of the Seno Ultima Esperanza

“We liked this house a lot. We had a room with a beautiful view and in the living room you can enjoy the view as well sitting next to a warm fire. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was fine. This was a nice start of our trip through Patagonia“.

Typical Patagonian House

“We had a simply great stay in this typical Patgonian House, the owner and the staff wrere so frienldy, who ran both the restaurant and bar in the evening. It is an ideal location, with the view from our second to none. You can walk to the boat for a tour of the glaciers in about 4 minutes. A perfect introduction to Patagonia, and sittng around the log fire at night with a glass of Chilean wine was just perfect“.
